Fairytale alpine meadow – Children's holiday in Styria

Directly next to the Hotel Waldheimathof, behind our Alm village, there is a fairytale alpine meadow that enchants every child.

Along its own reading trail there are 23 places where either a fairytale or a Rosegger tale from our own fairytale book can be read aloud.

The entire area with petting zoo, a 12m giant slide and the adjacent wood, without any roads, are just waiting for children to play and explore, to search for raspberries and mushrooms and to fire the children’s imagination.

Playing Indians and more

Their own Indian wigwam, a campfire for roasting sausages, riding a horse wearing war paint, panning for gold, a torch-light walk at night and chatting about the day’s events around the campfire – this is a child’s idea of a holiday – and this is also how a child's holiday is spent with us.

A giant slide, a bouncy castle, a ball pool, body painting, a children’s kitchen, giant Lego, painting, singing, mini playback show, puppet theatre and much, much more keep your children entertained during a bad weather period.
