Hiking in Styria

The unspoilt, impressive natural landscape in Rosegger’s forest homeland invites you to go on long walks and hike through the alpine meadows and mountains.

Near us you can wander at high altitudes between 1,050m and 1,800m to the Pretul mountain and to the Stuhleck, or you can follow in the footsteps of the Celts and explore the Teufelstein and visit the house where Peter Rosegger was born.

If you still want more, in just a few minutes’ drive you can reach the Hochschwab, Rax or the Hohe Veitsch to tour the low mountain range. All the good things you want are within reach – the region is wonderful and quickly reached by all fans of hiking and Nordic walking.
